MAXTECH LLC
Last Updated: August 19, 2026
MAXTECH LLC ("MAXTECH," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at maxteches.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
By using the Site or contacting us through it, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who We Are
MAXTECH LLC is a Texas limited liability company providing commercial low-voltage and security systems services — including IP/CCTV security camera systems, door and gate access control, alarm and intrusion detection, and structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6a, fiber optic, and related low-voltage infrastructure) — primarily to business, commercial, institutional, and government clients in the greater Houston area and throughout Texas.
Contact information:
Email: info@maxteches.com
Phone: (346) 600-3027
MAXTECH LLC is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to information collected through the Site and through communications you send us (email, phone, text message, contact forms, and online scheduling).
This Policy does not apply to:
Video, audio, access-control logs, or other data recorded by security systems that we install, configure, or service on your property. That data belongs to and is controlled by you, the system owner. Where we access such data to perform installation, service, warranty, or maintenance work, we do so as your service provider and only as needed to perform that work, under the terms of our service agreement with you.
Third-party websites or services that we link to. See Section 12.
3. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide to us
Contact and inquiry information — your name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, project address or service location, and any details you include when you request a quote, submit a contact form, book a consultation, or email or call us.
Project and account information — site details, scope of work, drawings or specifications you send us, purchase orders, and billing and remittance information.
Business and bid documentation — information provided in connection with subcontracting, prequalification, vendor registration, insurance certificates, and government or commercial bid submissions.
Employment inquiries — if you apply for a position, the contents of your resume and application.
Correspondence — the content of emails, text messages, voicemails, and form submissions you send us.
We do not request or want sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise geolocation) through the Site's public forms. Please do not submit it there. Where such information is legitimately required — for example, background-check or licensing paperwork for a project, or W-9 and banking details for payment — we will collect it through a direct, secured channel and use it only for that purpose.
b. Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
IP address and approximate general location (city/region level)
Browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size
Pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, and scroll behavior
The website or advertisement that referred you to the Site
Date and time of your visit
Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5)
This information is collected in aggregate for analytics, security, and advertising measurement. We do not attempt to use it to personally identify individual visitors.
c. Information from third parties
Advertising and analytics platforms — aggregated performance data from Google Ads and analytics tools showing how visitors reach and use the Site.
Referral sources — general contractors, property managers, business partners, and existing clients who refer you to us.
Public and commercial business databases — for business-to-business purposes, we may verify or supplement company contact details from publicly available sources, procurement portals, and business directories.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your quote requests, questions, and service inquiries
Prepare estimates, proposals, bids, and contracts
Schedule and perform site surveys, installations, service calls, and maintenance
Communicate with you about your project, including scheduling, change orders, and support
Process invoices and payments and maintain accounting and tax records
Provide warranty and post-installation support
Send occasional business updates, service reminders, or information about our offerings (you can opt out at any time — see Section 9)
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
Measure the performance of our advertising and understand which campaigns generate inquiries
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents
Comply with legal, licensing, insurance, contractual, and regulatory obligations, including requirements applicable to security-systems contractors in Texas
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
We process this information because it is necessary to respond to your request, to perform or enter into a contract with you, to serve our legitimate business interests in operating and marketing a commercial contracting business, to comply with our legal obligations, or with your consent where required.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, and local storage). Cookies are small text files placed on your device.
Essential cookies are necessary for the Site to function — for example, to load pages, keep forms working, and protect against spam and abuse. These cannot be turned off through our Site.
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors find and use the Site, which pages perform well, and where visitors encounter problems. We use website analytics provided by our hosting platform (Squarespace) and Google Analytics.
Advertising cookies are used by Google Ads and related advertising services to measure conversions (for example, to know that a form submission came from a particular ad) and, in some cases, to show our ads to people who have previously visited the Site. These services may use cookies and similar identifiers to associate your visit with advertising activity across other sites.
Your choices:
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop working correctly.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on any site by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
You can manage Google's ad personalization at https://myadcenter.google.com
You can opt out of many interest-based ads at https://optout.networkadvertising.org and https://optout.aboutads.info
Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Squarespace's privacy policy is available at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money or other valuable consideration. We do not rent or trade your contact information to unrelated companies.
We share information only in these circumstances:
Service providers. We use vendors who process information on our behalf and only for the purposes we specify. These include our website host and form provider (Squarespace), email and communications providers, online scheduling (Calendly), customer relationship management and estimating software, accounting and invoicing software, payment processors, and analytics and advertising platforms (Google). We do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing.
Project partners. When your project requires it, we may share relevant information — such as a site contact name, address, and scope details — with general contractors, property managers, owners' representatives, equipment manufacturers and distributors, licensed subcontractors, and monitoring providers, strictly as needed to bid, coordinate, deliver, warranty, or support the work.
Insurers, bonding companies, and professional advisors. We may share information with our insurance carriers, surety, attorneys, and accountants as reasonably necessary to obtain coverage, manage risk, or obtain professional advice.
Legal and regulatory. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request; to comply with licensing and regulatory obligations, including those of the Texas Department of Public Safety and other authorities that regulate our work; or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of MAXTECH, our clients, or others, or to investigate suspected fraud or security incidents.
Business transfers. If MAXTECH is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor the commitments in this Policy or provide notice of any material change.
With your direction. We will share information with anyone else at your request or with your consent.
7. Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages from us, we may send you messages about scheduling, service appointments, technician arrival, quotes, and project updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Opting out of text messages does not affect our ability to contact you by phone or email about your project.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who support the services we provide — such as customer service platforms and message delivery providers — is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
8. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we have a legitimate business or legal reason to do so:
Inquiries that do not become projects — generally up to 3 years, so we can respond to follow-up questions and understand our sales pipeline
Client and project records, contracts, and as-built documentation — generally at least 7 years after project completion, and longer where warranty terms, statutes of limitation and repose applicable to construction work in Texas, licensing rules, or contract terms require it
Accounting, tax, and payment records — at least 7 years, as required by tax and recordkeeping rules
Website analytics data — typically 14 months or less, per the retention settings of the analytics platform
Marketing contact lists — until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it unidentifiable.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing info@maxteches.com. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP. We will still send transactional messages about active projects, quotes you requested, service appointments, and invoices.
Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, provide a copy of it, correct inaccuracies, or delete it. Email info@maxteches.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days, and may extend once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may decline a request where the law permits — for example, where we are required to retain records for tax, licensing, warranty, insurance, safety, or legal-claim purposes, or where deleting the information would prevent us from performing an active contract.
Texas residents. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. MAXTECH qualifies as a small business as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, which changes how certain provisions of that law apply to us, but we honor these requests regardless, as described above. We do not sell personal data. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if the appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection.
California residents. If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to information we hold about you, you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. Submit requests to info@maxteches.com.
EU/UK residents. Our Site and services are directed at customers in the United States, and specifically Texas. If you are located in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable law and you contact us, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us at info@maxteches.com.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. Browsers and extensions may send "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. There is no uniform industry standard for responding to Do Not Track, and we do not currently respond to it. Where required by applicable law, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request for targeted advertising.
10. Security
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the information we hold, including using reputable hosted platforms that encrypt data in transit, limiting access to information to personnel who need it, and applying access controls to our accounts and systems.
No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You transmit information to us at your own risk. If you have an account or password with any system we provide, you are responsible for keeping those credentials confidential.
If we become aware of a breach of security affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any required authorities as and when required by applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business use by adults. We do not direct the Site to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@maxteches.com and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites, manufacturer product pages, scheduling tools, review platforms, and social media. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. This Policy does not apply to them. Review their privacy policies before providing information.
13. Data Location and International Transfers
MAXTECH operates in the United States, and the Site is hosted on servers located in the United States. If you access the Site or contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site or contacting us, you consent to that transfer and processing.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. Material changes will be posted prominently on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
